The President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture in Sidon and the South received the President and members of the Nabatieh Traders Association.

The President of the Chamber, Mr. Mohammad Saleh, welcomed the President of the Nabatieh Traders Association, Mr. Moussa Chmeissani, at the Chamber's headquarters in Sidon. The meeting was attended by several members of the administrative bodies of both the Chamber and the Traders Association.

The visit was an opportunity to extend New Year greetings and to discuss the repercussions of the Israeli aggression that affected the productive and commercial sectors in the South in general, and in Nabatieh specifically, as well as the Association's demands in this regard. Another topic was the surprising decision by some banks to close their branches in the governorate.

The Association presented its demands to Mr. Mohammad Saleh, which are summarized as follows:

Requesting banks that have closed their branches in Nabatieh to reopen them.
Compensating institutions, factories, offices of freelance professions, clinics, pharmacies, and their contents, specifically.
Requesting donors and grant-giving organizations to assist in reviving the commercial market in Nabatieh and its districts.
Requesting lending entities to provide concessional loans to affected institutions.

Mr. Mohammad Saleh and the members of the Chamber expressed their readiness to assist, contribute, and adopt these demands.
