The President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture in Sidon and the South, Mr. Mohammad Saleh, issued a statement expressing his gratitude to President Joseph Aoun, Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri, and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam for successfully forming the first government of the new term. He wished the government success in tackling the significant challenges ahead for both the cabinet and its ministers.
He expressed hope that the government's top priority would be to expedite the disbursement of compensation to those affected by the brutal Israeli aggression, paving the way for the launch of reconstruction efforts to restore what was destroyed by the Israeli war machine. The aggression targeted Lebanon as a whole, particularly the South, affecting all aspects of life, especially its productive sectors, including agriculture, industry, crafts, tourism, services, and infrastructure.
Mr. Saleh emphasized the need for all stakeholders to work with sincerity and a spirit of teamwork, embracing dialogue and cooperation to restore the Lebanese people's trust in the state and its institutions, as well as the confidence of the international community, particularly that of Lebanon’s Arab brothers.
