The Vice Presidents of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture in Sidon and South Lebanon, Jamal Jouni and Omar Dandachli, received the Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, Kamal Ghabou Shama, at the Chamber’s headquarters in Sidon. The visit was a protocol and introductory meeting on the occasion of his appointment as Algeria’s ambassador to Lebanon, in the presence of businessman Mr. Ali Al-Abdullah.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss and explore ways to strengthen and develop cooperation between productive sectors in both countries.

Jouni and Dandachli praised the deep historical and fraternal ties between Lebanon and Algeria and commended Algeria’s unwavering support for Lebanon and the resilience of its people, particularly in the South, across various periods, especially during the recent Israeli aggression against Lebanon.
