The president of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture in Sidon and the South, Mohammad Saleh, met the Ambassador of Bangladesh in Lebanon. Saleh, the president of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture in Sidon and the South, received Ambassador Javid Tanvir Khan of Bangladesh in Lebanon at the Chamber's headquarters in the city of Sidon. The meeting was attended by the First Secretary at the Embassy, Mohammad Anwar Hussain, in a introductory visit. The visit was also an occasion to discuss ways to enhance economic cooperation between the two countries.

Saleh welcomed Ambassador Khan, emphasizing the interest of the private sector in the southern Lebanon in expanding economic cooperation with Bangladesh. He pointed out the many opportunities available in various sectors for cooperation, stressing the need to increase communication between stakeholders in both countries.

In turn, the Ambassador of Bangladesh thanked the president of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture in Sidon and the South for providing the opportunity for the meeting, indicating the interest of the Bangladeshi private sector in enhancing cooperation with their counterparts in Lebanon in general and the South in particular.
