Legal Consultant

The Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Sidon and South Lebanon as a responsible party for  the assignment : “support in the implementation and operation of the National Trade Help Desk for the South of Lebanon is looking for a legal consultant to provide advisory legal service on business formalization and registration for MSMES.

The National Trade Help Desk is a platform established by UNDP and funded by the Government of Canada, designed to provide MSMEs with easy access to trade – related information and for one -on -one advisory services with legal experts.

The hired legal consultant is responsible to provide one-on-one consultations to at least 60  MSMEs and deliver  at least 8  legal workshops, with an allocation of 2 working days per month for one year.

Qualifications and Experience of the NTHD Legal Expert

1. Academic Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Law and the successful completion of “The examination of a bar association (accreditation to practice law)”

2. Years of experience:

At least 4 years of experience in Law as a practitioner.

3. Technical Experience and Functional Competencies:

At least 4 years of proven experience in providing legal support to MSMEs
Previous experience working with NGOs, or the UN (At least 2 projects).
At least 4 years of previous experience in the commercial law.
At least 2 years of previous experience in managing legal or advisory services

4. Duration for appointment: 

Allocation of at least 24 Working days over a period of One year starting September 2026

5. Financial Information:

The maximum available value of the contract is 6000 USD
