Summary
UNDP, through the National Trade Help Desk initiative, will support 7 women-led or women-owned micro and small businesses in South Lebanon and Nabatieh to formalize and register their businesses. Eligible businesses must be operational, locally producing, currently unregistered, and active in agro-food, creative industries, or cosmetics and personal care.
Description
Under the National Trade Help Desk initiative, UNDP is seeking to select 7 women-led and/or women-owned micro and small businesses operating in the South and Nabatieh Governorates to support them through the business registration process.
Eligible businesses should meet the following criteria:
The business is currently informal/unregistered.
The business is currently operational.
The business is women-led and/or women-owned.
The business produces its products locally.
The main reason for remaining informal is related to financial barriers.
The business operates in one of the following sectors:
Agro-food and beverages
Creative industries, including high-end crafts, textiles, jewelry, and furniture
Cosmetics and personal care, including detergents and cleaning products
